Welcome back to planDisney, Elyssa!
You’ve mentioned two of my favorite words, “Dining Plan”. I love visiting Disney World and adding a
dining plan is my ideal vacation. There are so many good things to enjoy and the dining plan is just another excuse to continue to snack my way through the parks. DOLE Whip for breakfast? Absolutely!
When it comes to dining credits, please don’t worry about them being tied to you or her. Since you both are on the same reservations, your dining credits will be bundled together as a whole number rather than person-specific. If you would like to keep them person-specific, I recommend keeping a tally in the notes sections of your mobile device, otherwise, you’ll be able to see your remaining dining credit balance on your reservation in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
I’ve found that depending on what our day consists of, my husband and I will sometimes share our meals. That means we might carry over an adult credit to use later in the evening or the next morning. For the sake of thinking it through, we will verbally call it his credit or mine, but in reality, the dining credits just sit in a big pool on your account. Either way, you look at it, you’ll still be able to
Mobile Order for her. You’ll see the total credits used at the time of checkout on your mobile device after submitting your order.
Some of my favorite locations to use Mobile Ordering are
Satu’li Canteen and Docking Bay 7. Just talking about it now makes me wish I could place a Mobile Order for
Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread. That plate is hands-down one of my favorites!
Elyssa, I can’t wait for your upcoming trip! Enjoy your visit and please be sure to visit us again if there’s anything else you need.
Bon Appetit,
Shantel
