Can I part at the pop resort for free to ride the skyliner?

Hey there, Tyler, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for pop-ping by with your question! I see your visit is just around the corner, so let's prepare for takeoff!

Tyler, I'm a huge fan of Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation system. My family loves traveling by land, by sea, and by air to get around The Most Magical Place on Earth! Of course, the sky is truly the limit when it comes to getting around Disney World - especially when "you can fly, you can fly, you can fly" on the Disney Skyliner!

As you already know, Disney's Pop Century Resort is located along the Disney Skyliner route, making it incredibly easy for resort guests to travel to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. However, resort parking is intended for resort guests only. The one exception to this rule is if you have an Advance Dining Reservation for a table-service restaurant at a resort, in which case you'll be issued a temporary parking pass. Since Pop Century doesn't offer a table-service restaurant, parking there is unfortunately not an option.

I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Tyler, but if you're hoping to ride the Skyliner on a day you're not entering the parks, you can still do that by parking at Disney's Hollywood Studios. While you will need to pay for parking, you do not need to enter the park to access the Disney Skyliner. Just park your car and head for the Skyliner station, located near the bus loop. From there, you can ride the Skyliner to several Disney Resort Collection hotels, including:

    -Disney's Pop Century Resort
    -Disney's Art of Animation Resort
    -Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
    -Disney's Riviera Resort
    -Disney's BoardWalk Inn
    -Disney's Beach Club Resort
    -Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Each of these resorts offers magical vibes, fantastic dining, and endless shopping opportunities - so touring them via the Skyliner makes for a memorable non-park day!

I hope this helps, and that you enjoy every second of your magical Disney vacation! If you have any other questions as you plot out your adventure, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Adventure is out there,

    Allison
