We want to use the DDP on our non park days to eat at different resorts. Will we be able to park at different resorts to eat there at the quick service restaurant?

Greetings, Catherine, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us about the Disney Dining Plan. I totally get why you would want to enjoy quick-service restaurants at other resorts within the Disney Resorts Collection. There is so much yummy food to try and never enough time. Let's explore your options for getting around.

Parking at Disney hotels is restricted to Guests with hotel, recreation and dining reservations at that specific hotel. This means you could get turned away at the entrance if you don't have one of these reservations. Since quick-service restaurants don't require a dining reservation, you may not be able to park your car just for quick-service dining. If you do get turned away, the security guard will likely recommend that you park at the nearest Disney Theme Park and take Disney Resort transportation to the hotel.

Since you'll already be staying at a Disney hotel, my suggestion is to let Mickey do the driving. Take the included transportation to the theme park nearest to the hotel you'd like to visit, then transfer to that hotel's transportation. Alternately, you could do what I mentioned above and drive to the nearest theme park. Parking will be free since you're staying on property. Then, take resort transportation to the hotel of your choosing.

Catherine, I hope you have a fantastic trip, and please come back and visit us with any other planning questions.

    Let your dreams guide you!
