    When do the parks begin the Christmas themes?

    Welcome to planDisney, Annette! The Holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort is such a special time to visit! There's nothing like seeing the resort dressed in its Holiday best! Thanks so much for sending us your planning question. 

    I'm so happy to report that Christmastime at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" generally begins when the decorations start going up on Nov. 1 at the Magic Kingdom Park. It's the first place that starts to get into the Holiday spirit as the last trick-or-treater leaves the park after celebrating Halloween! The other three theme parks and all of the Disney hotels also begin to decorate for the season at the very beginning of November.

    As you continue to plan your visit, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the coming months for a mention about tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special ticketed event always brings seasonal nighttime entertainment and a chance to see Santa himself!
