What are the parking options and fees for visiting if you are not a resort guest?

Ka-CHOW, Kristy! Welcome to planDisney where we race to help guests plan their Walt Disney World Resort adventures. Thanks for squealing those tires our way! Like Lightning McQueen, we're faster than fast, so let's talk about parking your Cars during your visit.

While pricing is subject to change, the current standard parking fee for the theme parks is $30 per day. This fee covers all four parks, so if you plan to park hop, you'll show your receipt to access the other lots at no additional charge. There's also an option to purchase preferred parking, and oversized vehicles could incur an extra charge.

If you plan to spend time shopping and dining at Disney Springs, I'm happy to let you know that parking is complimentary. My favorite spot is the Orange Garage because it's right in the middle of the stores. UNIQLO is always my first stop to see their latest Disney collaboration!

Finally, if you have a dining reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, you can typically park for a few hours there at no charge. You'll show your reservation details and photo ID at the checkpoint, and if parking is available, the attendant will direct you where to park. My tip is to book a meal at Disney's BoardWalk area so you can spend a little time strolling after dinner. I recently had a fabulous lunch with a few panelist pals at The Cake Bake Shop®. The Birthday Cake slice was dreamy; I wouldn't mind getting older if I could have that every year!

Kristy, I hope I've addressed your question about parking your trusty steel steed during your visit. If you need more information, please come back to planDisney anytime. I'll be waving the checkered flag to victory!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

Bright Suns! I'm Elaine, a retired teacher dividing my time between my home state of Kentucky and the Sunshine State. I married my college sweetheart, and now that our only son is grown, we are exploring the empty-nest life. My family has been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for over 25 years, so if you have questions about adult-only visits, plant-based meals, thrill attractions, and Florida-resident perks, I'm here for you in full Force.
