Hiya, Meggon! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. It sounds like you have a great autumn getaway in the works. You’ll be immersed in the magic and enjoying all the Mickey-shaped snacks your heart desires before you know it!
I’m happy to report that you can absolutely stop at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for breakfast before enjoying your day at the theme parks. Theme park reservations don’t require that you arrive at a certain time, but admission is subject to capacity limits. As you prepare for your visit, remember that theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets,
so double-check what type of ticket you have. Theme park reservations are currently required for student group tickets, sports and convention tickets, Disney Military Salute tickets, and Annual Passholders.
One important thing to remember, and it seems like you’ve already planned for it, is that you can’t leave your personal vehicle at a hotel and then continue on to the parks. So a ride share like Lyft or Uber is a great option, or you can book a
Minnie Van if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
There are a lot of great breakfast options at the resorts near each theme park. Here are my recommendations depending on which theme park you plan to enjoy.
Animal Kingdom:
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge
Hollywood Studios:
Trattoria al Forno at BoardWalk Inn
EPCOT: Cape May Cafe at Beach Club Resort
Magic Kingdom: ‘Ohana at Polynesian Village Resort
Meggon, I hope this information is helpful and that you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have additional questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
