Hello and welcome to planDisney, Amy!
Thank you for taking the time to send a question our way. We are thrilled to help you plan a pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort adventure!
You are welcome to park at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort while you enjoy lunch. However, if you plan to spend the rest of your day at Magic Kingdom Park, you will have to move your car to the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot. Only registered Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort can take advantage of complimentary parking at the resort and use Disney transportation to travel to the theme parks. The good news is you will still get the chance to enjoy the iconic monorail to travel from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom Park. You are also welcome to take a ferry boat across the Seven Seas Lagoon to reach the park entrance.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to some of my favorite dining destinations at the Walt Disney World Resort. I highly recommend making reservations at
Kona Cafe or stopping by
Capt. Cook’s. If you decide to dine at Kona Cafe, I suggest trying the delicious Kona Stir-fry with Shrimp and the Pineapple-Coconut Bread Pudding (menu subject to change without notice). After enjoying lunch, be sure to stop by
Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip before heading to Magic Kingdom Park.
I hope this information is helpful, Amy. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
See ya real soon,
Thiana
