Hi Lisa!
Thanks for bringing another great question to planDisney!
When using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass with a valid
park hopper, you will only be able to make your pre-selections in one park. You can choose to purchase Lightning Lane Mutli Pass for the park you’re starting in for the day, or choose a park you’ll be hopping to if you don’t think you’ll need any Lightning Lanes in your very first park.
On your park day, once you scan in to your first Lightning Lane of the day using Lightning Lane Mutli Pass, you can book any other available Lightning Lane in any park since you have a park hopper.
At that time, you’ll also be able to modify any existing Lightning Lanes to any Lightning Lane in any park (pending availability). That way, if you don’t think you’ll get to all 3 Lightning Lanes before heading to your next park, you can switch them!
It’s also good to note that you can modify your Lightning Lane pre-selections at any time leading up to your trip as well. So, if you want to fine-tune your return times to work better with your schedule, you can do so if you see any new availability pop up.
Remember, you’ll be able to purchase your Lightning Lane services and book your pre-selections for your whole trip beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date if you’re
staying at a Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if it’s a date-based ticket.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
