Hi Kristina,
Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite things about a Disney World vacation is using
Disney transportation throughout my visit. I love the idea of not having to worry about driving from place to place while I soak up all of the magic!
When parking at the Magic Kingdom, you will actually park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take a monorail or the ferry boat to get to the Magic Kingdom. Once you finish your time at Magic Kingdom, you will jump on the monorail for a ride back to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then switch to the EPCOT monorail. The
EPCOT monorail begins operating 30 minutes before EPCOT opens and stops 2 hours after EPCOT closes. When you finish your day at EPCOT, hop back on the EPCOT monorail for a ride to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where your car will be located.
Since you will be utilizing the Part Hopper Option while on your vacation, I would also consider hopping between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. I love this option because you can ride the
Disney Skyliner straight into the back of the theme park and enter through the International Gateway. This lets you get straight to eating at all of your favorite international food booths! We like to hop to EPCOT as much as possible while the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing because the food is delicious and it is hard to enjoy all of it in just one day!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
