Hi Cathy, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like you’re going to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple more days. So let’s make sure your room is well stocked with the essentials!
My family usually places a grocery order so we have some breakfast items handy in the room. It makes it much easier to get out the door when we’re trying to rope drop!
There are many third-party stores and companies that deliver groceries to
Disney resort hotels. When you place an order online, use your resort hotel’s address at checkout. You can find that information on the resort hotel’s page on the
Disney World website. It’s typically located on the right side under the map.
Bell Services can generally hold your groceries and refrigerate anything perishable, so you don’t have to worry about being there when it’s delivered. When you arrive, you can pick up your groceries from Bell Services or have them deliver the items to your room for a fee (currently $6).
However, if you order any items that require identification for pickup, like alcoholic drinks, an adult from your party must be present to accept the order directly. Bell Services can’t take orders with those items.
Another thing to keep in mind—depending on your resort hotel and room type, your room may have a beverage cooler, which typically doesn’t get as cold as a refrigerator. I just wanted to mention that in case it impacts what kinds of perishable items you purchase.
Many resort hotel gift shops also sell essentials like light breakfast food items, snacks, drinks, and toiletries. So depending on what you’re looking for, you may be able to get them right at your resort hotel. This has been really helpful for when I’ve forgotten things like contact lens solution or my sister wanted milk for her coffee.
One more thing before I go. Don’t miss all the happenings going on for
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER! My family is most excited for the special character experiences in the theme parks, water parks, and even select resort hotels. Disney resort hotel guests also get
free water park admission on check-in day this summer. It’s really the practically perfect time to be at Disney World!
