Hi Arlene!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’ll be celebrating a very special day soon, so let’s get straight to the answer!
At this time,
Chef Mickey’s does offer a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake for an additional cost upon request…and it’s not only delicious but so cute, too! It feeds 4-6 people and comes in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate.
While this is usually something you would order in advance when you make your reservation on My Disney Experience, they will allow in-person requests at the host podium at least 4 days prior to your reservation.
If time isn’t on your side, Chef Mickey’s will accept same-day requests if they have any cakes available. You must make that request in person at the restaurant. The restaurants only have a limited quantity of celebration cakes for day-of requests, so they might not be able to fulfill the request, but it’s worth a try!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that you can enjoy a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake at Chef Mickey’s for the big birthday celebration, but if it doesn’t work out, I have a couple of other recommendations.
You can pre-order a birthday celebration cake from Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs as long as you give 48 hours advanced notice. They’ll even deliver to some Disney World resorts!
Follow this link for all the details on how to order.
You can also visit
The Cake Bake Shop Bakery at the
BoardWalk, where you can enjoy a huge slice of cake. They have so many flavors to choose from that you’re bound to find something you love.
Ok…before I let you go, make sure to stop by Guest Relations at the parks or the front desk if you’re staying at a Disney World resort to request a
celebration pin. The Cast Members love to wish you a big “Happy Birthday!” when you wear that around.
Wishing you (or whoever’s celebrating!) the happiest birthday at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
