Hi there, Gary! Welcome to planDisney. I am ecstatic that you’re already thinking of the delicious bites you’ll be enjoying on Thanksgiving Day at the Happiest Place on Earth. Let’s go ahead and see how we can celebrate this holiday with a Disney twist.
Depending on whether you want to stay within the parks or venture out to the hotels on property, you’ll have a good variety of Thanksgiving dinners to choose from. I’ve found that the buffet-style dinners at
Goofy’s Kitchen inside the Disneyland Hotel and
Storytellers Cafe inside Disney’s Grand Californian are the most popular dining reservations. Last year, reservations opened for both on October 9, 2025, and they are usually the most sought after.
Then you’ll have quite a few options in the parks, such as
Carnation Café and
Plaza Inn at Disneyland, and
Flo’s V8 Cafe and
Carthay Circle Restaurant at California Adventure. There’s a good mix of table-service and quick-service options depending on what you’re in the mood for! In addition, during this time of year, California Adventure will have its
Festive Food Marketplace up and running for you to celebrate and sample bites and traditions from all around the world.
With Thanksgiving in mind, I would expect to see something similar in October again for dining reservations. However, I would still keep an eye on the 60-day mark, since that is when dining reservations typically open up, just to be sure.
Gary, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I hope this gives you an idea of how you can plan to celebrate Thanksgiving at the parks. If you have any more questions until then, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
