Ahoy there, Megan!
How exciting to see you again at planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with another
Disney Cruise Line question. Your
Online Check-In date is quickly approaching, so let's get going.
For Online Check-In, you will need a digital photo or digital copy of your
passport's "picture page." So, that is the page with your photo and all the pertinent information. I usually just snap a photo with my phone. Be sure the photo is clear. If your passport is new, you may need to ensure it is fully open so the photo isn't obscured.
You will also need to submit a digital photo of each Guest in your party during Online Check-In. This is just a simple forward-facing picture from the shoulders up, without a hat or sunglasses. Again, make sure the photo is clear and the lighting is good. I sometimes have a bit of a challenge with the photo submissions, but don't worry, you will have plenty of time to submit another if that is necessary.
Once you receive your Port Arrival Form, you will need to
bring it to the port terminal on embarkation day. I usually save it to my phone as a document or print it out just in case, but at the port terminal, I use my
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to check in. In some terminals, you can even use your
DisneyBand+ for check-in! Be sure you have both your phone and your band charged before you get to the port. And don't forget, you will need to present your passport at the cruise terminal, so bring that along and have it in your carry-on bag.
You will be on your way before you know it, Megan! Please let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
