    Once I have linked other groups under My Friends and Family list, will they still have the option to make or modify multi pass or any other changes on their own in their Disney app?

    Welcome to planDisney, April! It sounds like you have a magical trip planned for early summer—how exciting! There’s nothing quite like counting down to a Walt Disney World vacation, and I’m so happy to help with your planning.

    This is a great question, and I completely understand wanting to make sure everything runs smoothly for your group. When you link other guests to your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience, it allows you to plan together, but it doesn’t take away their ability to manage their own plans. Each person can still make or modify their own Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) selections, dining reservations, and other plans in their own app. While one person may choose to handle the initial purchase for LLMP for the group, each guest can adjust their selections based on availability and their preferences within the party’s overall plans. Essentially your group can ride some attractions together and do others separately. 

    If someone needs to modify their LLMP, they can do so easily in the My Disney Experience app. Here’s how:
        1.    Open the My Disney Experience app and tap the ☰ menu (three lines) in the bottom right corner.
        2.    Select Lightning Lane Passes and locate the attraction they want to modify.
        3.    If they already have a selection, they should see an option to Modify their Lightning Lane.
        4.    They can choose a different time (if available) or swap it for another eligible attraction.
        5.    Confirm the change, and they’re all set! 

    To make sure everything is set up correctly, I recommend double-checking that everyone in your group is linked properly under Family & Friends in your My Disney Experience account. This will help you coordinate plans seamlessly, while still giving each person flexibility to manage their own reservations.

    If you’re traveling with a larger group, I also suggest making sure everyone is comfortable navigating the app before your trip. That way, if plans change throughout the day, each person can make adjustments as needed. It’s a great way to keep the magic flowing while allowing everyone to experience their must-dos!
