Christmas at resorts

Is it okay to bring my own bread products to toast in the resort quick service locations? I’m taking my family for Christmas along with a jam advent calendar so I want to plan ahead if we need to purchase from the QS location instead.

    Hello Alyssa!

Welcome to planDisney! My family loves to have two breakfasts when in Walt Disney World Resort. Like certain hairy-footed book characters, we like first breakfast early in the morning before we go to the Parks and then second breakfast after we do a few attractions. First breakfast is usually a croissant, bagel, or English muffin with a beverage.

Sometimes we purchase our first breakfast and snack items via a grocery delivery service and sometimes we shop in the Resort gift shops. Either way, we have found the toasters and microwaves in the Quick-Service locations to be a big help in getting our meals warm. Since Guests cannot get these appliances in their rooms unless they are staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort Room this is a great solution. Just be mindful that these appliances are intended for all guests so make sure to let other Guests have a chance between jam tastings. I also want to note that I received a jam advent calendar last Christmas and the Fig-Cardamom Jam spread is my favorite.

I hope you guys have a magical time exploring the Resorts. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the most magical during the holidays with its giant gingerbread house that smells as delicious as it looks. You can even buy gingerbread shingles and other treats to take the magic with you. Maybe it may pair well with one of your jams!

I hope that you have a sweet time on your trip!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
