Hi Diane, welcome to planDisney!
Disney dining is my favorite part of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family is in the process of narrowing down our must-eats for our January visit. So far my son wants to bounce with Tigger at
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park and my mother-in-law wants some fried chicken from
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs. My only request is for a Mickey-shaped waffle, which tastes especially good at the
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Breakfast is the most magical meal of the day at Walt Disney World Resort and I can't think of a better way to start the day than by enjoying a cup of coffee and a Mickey-shaped waffle while immersed in the magic of a theme park. I'm happy as the dwarf to report that all Guests with early morning breakfast reservations can enter the theme park to access their reservation, even if they are not eligible for
early theme park entry for Disney Resort hotel Guests. Look for signs designating the entrance for Guests with dining reservations, or ask a Cast Member to point you in the right direction. Whether dining with royalty at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT or with Minnie and friends at
Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you're in for a delicious meal and a rare glimpse at a near-empty theme park.
When planning your transit time, Diane, please make sure to allow ample time for parking, walking to the theme park entrance, and walking to the restaurant. Keep in mind that Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park must park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take the ferry or monorail to the entrance of the park. Please reply to me
directly if you'd like a specific time recommendation based on your reservation time and location.
I hope this information gives you the confidence to book that breakfast, Diane. Advance reservations for dining open
online at 6:00 a.m. 60 days in advance. The magic and Mickey waffles are calling!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
