Dear Walt Disney World guest,
Thank you for asking your question to planDisney!
Yes, of course, you can pay cash for your meal at
The Crystal Palace in the
Magic Kingdom!
I know that you likely see so many answers on the panel about the use of
MagicBands, the
Mobile Online Ordering system, and other digital conveniences that Disney has incorporated into their
My Disney Experience system. I won't deny that many of them have made my vacations seem far more effortless and have helped make our days in the parks go more smoothly.
But that does not mean that Walt Disney World has gone cashless! In fact, I paid with cash a few weeks ago at a few different restaurants, and there was no trouble at all. Even when you encounter those quick service dining locations that tout the pre-ordering via the Mobile Online Ordering system, that does not preclude you from going to the registers and ordering in person, as well as paying with cash. So by all means, feel comfortable bringing some good old-fashioned dollar bills with you to take care of the bill when Winnie the Pooh and his friends host you!
BONUS TIPIf you arrive early and need to wait for your dining time to come due, know that you are just a few feet away from some restrooms, as well as the
Baby Care Center. Both can afford you a chance to brush off the dust from a busy day in the parks, and maybe get a quick change in for anyone in the younger set that might be in your party.
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
Doug
