    If I am not attending the Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party can I watch the fireworks from the Contemporary with an audio track?

    Happy Early Halloween Wendy, and welcome to planDisney!

    My husband and I recently took the opportunity to use our Disney Vacation Club points to stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort ahead of the upcoming planned room refurbishments in late 2024 (which should hopefully include upgraded televisions along with it) and were delighted to be able to watch fireworks comfortably during our stay. I observed so many fellow guests out on the balconies of Bay Lake Tower looking like Wendy Darling gazing up into the night sky looking out for Peter Pan, and even if you're not attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party it's great to know that you've got a few options to be able to watch the fireworks at the nearby Disney Resort Hotels: 

    • I observed that guests had already begun staking out spots early to watch Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular from the far end of the Grand Canyon Concourse on the 4th Floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, with the limited bench seating already occupied by families an hour prior to the show. Watching the show from here is currently complimentary with access via doors found beyond the Fantasia and BVG, or Bayview Gifts shops. (In our experience we were able to hear the music synced to the show from here, however it was fainter than we had expected and I suspect this was due to the speaker placement.)
    With a little Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust (and perhaps a little help from my tips above) - here's hoping you get a chance to enjoy the show from afar on your upcoming visit, Wendy!
