Hiya Joan, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your theme park ticket question. That's quite a magical treasure you have on your hands, so let's talk about how to take advantage of it.
Great news! I'm happy to assure you that
Walt Disney World honors all unexpired theme park tickets with unused, remaining days left. You may need to convert them to newer tickets, and have them liked to your My Disney Experience account. To find out the status of your tickets, and remaining number of days available, you will want to call a Cast Member at
Disney Ticket Information. If the tickets were partially used and previously assigned to a guest, they will need to be
used by that same guest and cannot be reassigned to someone else.
Before you call, make sure you've got a Disney account created, and can log in to
My Disney Experience. This will provide a My Disney account to attach your old tickets to, and also provide easy access once you arrive at the parks! You will then be able to access your park ticket either by using a linked MagicBand, or with your phone by using
MagicMobile.
There's always something new and exciting to experience at Disney World! I'm excited to try out the newly reimagined Test Track at EPCOT, and take in the splendor of Magic Kingdom's new nighttime light parade
Disney Starlight - Dream the Night Away. I recommend placing those on your "must-do" list! I hope you get the opportunity to visit soon, and utilize those terrific park tickets.
Please send me a
message at planDisney if I can help with anything else.
The magic is calling!
