Will the Minnie Van service pick us up and drop us off at MCO if we are staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort? And we will need 2 car seats, will they provide them?

    Hello there Alysha,

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for visiting us with your question. We are guests just like you, who love helping with all the practically perfect details for your Disney World vacation!

You've made such an excellent choice in Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It's one of my family's favorite Disney Resorts! I love the tropical vibes, my kids love the pirate-fort themed pool, and we all love using Disney Skyliner to get to the parks. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. You're going to love it!

Previously, Minnie Van service through Lyft was not available to-and-from the MCO Orlando airport. They have recently started offering this route between MCO to Walt Disney World, but it is currently only offered to guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort (the Caribbean is a Moderate Resort), or staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel with a VIP Tour booked.

I don't blame you for not planning to rent a car during your Disney World vacation... this is exactly what we have always done! There's just something about staying right in the magic bubble, for the entire duration of your stay. Alternative options for transportation between MCO airport and your Disney Resort would be to order a regular ride share through Uber or Lyft, or book a bus ride through Mears Connect. Prices are subject to change, but Mears Connect currently charges $16 per adult, $13 per child (age 3-9) for a one way ride. This can be a fun and relaxing way to arrive at Disney World, but typically takes more time than grabbing a ride share right away.

If you do wish to use the Minnie Van service on the Walt Disney World property during your vacation, then yes - it will include 2 complimentary child seats. We utilized this option when we needed to hurry between a park and our dining reservation at a Disney Resort. It's extremely comfortable, and includes a dose of pixie-dust with Disney cartoons for your Mouseketeers to watch during the ride.

Alysha, I hope this helps and that you have an absolutely wonderful time at Disney World! If you'd like any dining or attraction recommendations for your young ones... please send me a message at planDisney

    Sending pixie-dust!
