Hi there, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry that you've recently had surgery, I hope your recovery is going well and that you have someone as helpful as Baymax taking care of you!
I would recommend that you plan to
rent a wheelchair or ECV at the parks. The rentals are located just east of the entrance to Disneyland Park and you can rent one for the whole day. Once you've got your wheels, you'll want to check out the
mobility requirements for attractions. Some rides you can experience right from the wheelchair, while others you may need to transfer. Just ask a Cast Member at each attraction for instructions and they'll be happy to help!
I'll also add that
some attractions do have health advisories. You'll want to be careful at these attractions and make sure that you don't put your recovery at risk!
When I've had visits in the past where I couldn't join my family on some attractions I always took that as a sign that it was time for a snack. Try using the
Disneyland Mobile App to order a snack and pick it up before the rest of your group goes on a ride so you can relax in the shade with your treat! Also, remember that you can always stop by
First Aid if you need a little extra assistance.
I'm sending you all the healing vibes, Jessica! I hope you have a wonderful day at the parks with your nieces and nephews!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
