Hi there, Jessica!
From one planner to another, welcome! You have definitely found the right place. My planDisney friends and I are totally the planners of our groups, so I'd be happy to help you with this technology question!
The easiest way to have a dining reservation show up in the
Disneyland Mobile App that you didn't make yourself is actually to visit the Disneyland website. Weird, but it usually works! The person who wants to add the reservation to their account should hover their mouse over
"My Disneyland" at the right side of the menu bar and then click on "My Plans." Scroll down the page a bit and there is an option to "Link a Dining Reservation." Click that button and then enter the reservation number and your last name (since you're the master planner) and it should link that reservation to the Disney account.
Sometimes I just take a screenshot of the reservations in my version of the app to text to family and friends. Not as fancy as linking on our Disney accounts, but it gets the job done! It's also a helpful option if you have friends who aren't really using the mobile app. I've also been known to add our reservations to a shared online calendar so we can see them that way, too. Did I mention I'm a planner? I also like to check out the menus for different restaurants in the Disneyland Mobile App!
It looks like you'll be visiting during the
Lunar New Year celebrations! That means even
MORE great food options in Disney California Adventure Park. Sometimes I've shared a
Sip and Savor Pass with my friends when we all want to try a couple of different snacks. You can find more details on these limited-time snacks and drinks in the
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Lunar New Year 2024 on the Disney Parks Blog.
Have an incredible time in the parks with your crew, Jessica! I hope they know how lucky they are to have a friend like you!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
