My niece and I are coming to WDW and she has Celiac's. I've reviewed a lot of menus and see GF options. WDW magazine said ALL Disney restaurants have dedicated GF fryers, buns, and in most cases are able to sub GF pasta. Is this accurate?

It's great to see you here today at planDisney, Elizabeth! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question. Walt Disney World is a destination of choice for families with special dietary needs because the dining team puts so much care and thought into preparing safe and delicious menus for guests with allergies and dietary concerns. You’ll be happy to know that there are plenty of options to ensure everyone in your party can enjoy a magical and stress-free dining experience!

Walt Disney World table-service and quick-service restaurants will do their best to accommodate you if you need meals made without gluten and most dining locations have a gluten and wheat allergy-friendly menu available for you to choose from. You can even mobile order from the gluten and wheat-allergy-friendly menu through the My Disney Experience app! In most cases, gluten-free buns and pasta are available to be substituted if that's the option you're interested in. If your niece's concerns extend to dedicated cooking spaces being completely free from exposure to gluten, the best thing for you to do will be to discuss your needs with special diets Cast Members at each dining location. They're going to be the source of the best, safest, and most accurate information!

While you're at Walt Disney World, you should make a special trip to Disney Springs to visit Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC! They're the masters of allergy-friendly baked goods and everything in the shop is kosher and free of refined sugar, gluten, wheat, soy, dairy, and eggs. It's the perfect place to visit with your niece and give her free rein because everything on the menu is safe and delicious!

I hope this answers your question, Elizabeth, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
