Can you still get old magic bands somewhere?

Welcome to planDisney, Joshua! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. What did we ever do in a time before MagicBands? I love the convenience of being able to use one to do everything, including paying for my souvenir purchases, of which there are many. When I get home, I often find myself wanting to tap my wrist to open my door and pay for my groceries!

Although MagicBand+ will take up the majority of stock at most merchandise locations, there are still some places where you'll be able to find the older style of MagicBand known as MagicBand 2. The first stop I recommend is the merchandise shop at your Resort Hotel, where there is often a small selection of MagicBand 2 alongside MagicBand+. The next likeliest locations will be large merchandise shops like the Emporium at Magic Kingdom or Creations at EPCOT. Creations actually has one of the larger selections of MagicBand 2 options that I've seen recently! If you're headed to Disney Springs at any time during your trip, you also may find some at World of Disney or at D-Tech On Demand in the Marketplace Co-Op. I recommend getting your MagicBand as early as possible during your trip so you can get the most out of it while you're there!

I hope this answers your question, Joshua, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
