Patrick from MA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are newer DVC members (joined 2024) and use year begins in Oct. We had 60 something points allocated to our 2025 use year (Oct 2025 - Sept 2026) from the prior year, but they don’t show in our account anymore. Did they expire already?

Hi Patrick, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Oh no, missing Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points would certainly make me as worried as Marlin looking for Nemo! I would take the EAC to search for them far and wide. Now let’s keep swimming to get you an answer about your Vacation Points!

Since your Use Year begins in October, you’re correct that any Vacation Points you have banked from your 2024 allocation should still be available for you to use. For an October Use Year, any banked Vacation Points in your current allocation will expire if they are not used for a booking by September 30, 2026. I suggest contacting Member Services to inquire about the status of those Vacation Points.

Patrick, did you know that you can also view every single Vacation Point transaction from your membership? This includes any bookings you may have made as well as any Vacation Points you have banked, borrowed, transferred, and exchanged out for use in the Disney Resort Collection or for Interval International. I highly recommend looking at your Complete Activity Statement to verify that those Vacation points were in fact banked into your current allocation of Vacation Points.

In order to do so, log in to the DVC website. Once logged in, select “My Vacation Points” from the dropdown that reads “My DVC” From there, you will see a basic summary of your Vacation Points for each contract of your membership that shows Vacation Points banked, borrowed, or in holding. Below that summary table is a link that reads “View Complete Activity Statement”.

Patrick, I hope this gets you on the right path towards finding those Vacation Points! If you have any additional questions about making the most of your DVC membership, feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
