Hi Chad and welcome to planDisney! My family loves staying in 1 bedroom Resort Villas when we vacation at
Walt Disney World! We love having the space, the full kitchen, and in-unit washer and dryer! Now let’s talk through booking one for your upcoming vacation!
Chad, you’re correct that bookings for 2027 vacations have recently opened up! However, the
Resort Villas, such as those at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, may have limited availability for non-Disney Vacation Club members. This is because as DVC Resorts, DVC members generally have priority when booking Resort Villas. But don’t fret, availability is always subject to change for Resort Villas as DVC members may cancel their reservations, making those rooms available for all guests!
You may have some luck booking Resort Villas at Resorts such as the new
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows or
Disney’s Riviera Resort since those Resorts are still being actively sold, meaning that Walt Disney World has more inventory at these Resorts. In addition, you may also want to check if you have a special offer selected. Sometimes, there is limited inventory for particular offers and rooms might be sold out for particular rates.
