I just got my new magic band +s in the mail today for my upcoming trip. I accidentally linked both of them to my husband instead of one to me and one to him. How can I get my magic band back to me?

    Hey there, Stephanie!

I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I’m so glad you brought your question our way! Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is coming up so soon…HOORAY! I bet you’re getting more and more excited as the days get closer. It won’t be long before you’re walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and getting that very first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. That moment never gets old, no matter how many times you’ve experienced it. I’m so excited for you and can’t wait for you to experience all the magic that’s just around the corner!

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear your MagicBand+ was accidentally linked to your husband’s My Disney Experience account. That’s definitely a Bibbidi Bobbidi bummer! While MagicBand+ devices typically can’t be reassigned to another Guest, since you haven’t used it yet, I’d recommend reaching out to App and MagicBand Support. Hopefully, a helpful Cast Member can sprinkle a little pixie dust on the situation and see if there’s anything they can do to help!

Just a quick Lightning Lane reminder as you get ready for your trip! If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase your Lightning Lane passes starting 7 days before your check-in date at 7:00 a.m. ET, right in your My Disney Experience app. If you’re staying off property, you’ll be able to make your selections 3 days before each day you plan to visit a theme park.

If you’re hoping to snag specific attractions or times, I’d definitely set an alarm so you’re ready to go right at 7:00 a.m. ET. It’s worth getting an early start, so you have the best chance of grabbing the options you want!

Stephanie, I'm hoping you have the very best trip. Wishing you a MAGICAL vacation! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
