Hi Jill!
Thanks for coming back to planDisney with another great question. I'm happy to help!
Lightning Lane Premiere Pass will debut at Walt Disney World Resort as a pilot program on October 30, 2024. On that day, eligible guests can begin purchasing this new service which will allow one entry to each Lightning Lane entrance in the selected park. Like
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, this will be available for purchase beginning 7 days before check-in date for the guests' length of stay, up to 14 days. However, this service will
only be offered to guests with
reservations at select resorts (currently Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts as well as Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green Resort).
This service will be available in very limited quantities and is only valid for one park per day. For example, if you purchase Lightning Lane Premiere Pass for Magic Kingdom Park and complete all eligible attractions you will not be able to use Premier Pass at a second park on the same day, even if you have Park Hopper Option tickets. However, you can combine this purchase with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass at the same park, or additional parks as you like, subject to availability. My perfect park day would likely start early with
Multi Pass selections at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park followed by a visit to Nomad Lounge, and end with an
epic afternoon of Premier Pass adventures at Magic Kingdom Park.
If you are looking for maximum attractions and hopping access within the same day, you might also consider a
Disney Private VIP Tour which would allow your group of up to 10 to experience guided access in the park or parks of your choice with
Park Hopper Option tickets. Keep in mind that all of these services require valid theme park admission and/or theme park reservations when applicable in addition to the Lightning Lane Passes or VIP Tour costs. In addition, standby queues are still available for all experiences except for those utilizing a
Virtual Queue.
I hope this helped, Jill. If we can answer any additional questions please come right back and let us know. Wishing you a magical visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
