Hi there, Melissa, and welcome to planDisney!
Taking your little one to Walt Disney World is already pure magic in itself, but to celebrate a birthday, too, is just amazing. I just know that you’re going to have a great time this week. Let’s get into the information you need, especially with you being one sleep away from your adventure.
Mouseketeers under the age of 3 are considered the Guests of Mickey and have free entry into the theme parks, water parks, and other various experiences across Walt Disney World Resort. However, all Guests aged 3 years and older need a valid form of admission (a theme park ticket, an annual pass, etc.) to enter the Disney Parks. I will add that the friendly Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort usually do not check for proof of age at the Mickey-shaped touch points at the theme park entrances.
One of my favorite tips to share with young families like mine is that little ones under the age of 3 can also eat at no additional charge at All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurants like The Crystal Palace (with Winnie The Pooh!) and ‘Ohana. It’s a fun way to meet the characters indoors while enjoying a nice meal. You can join a walk-up list for some of these spots or make an advance dining reservation in your
My Disney Experience App.
Melissa, if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions before, during, or after your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth,
revisit us here at planDisney. Happy early birthday to your little one!
Magic always,
LeAndra
