Ahoy, Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to see us before you set sail on the
Disney Fantasy later this month. The Fantasy holds a special place in my heart as it was the very first Disney Cruise Line ship I sailed on more than a decade ago. It's where I fell in love with Disney cruising, and I hope you have a vacation that's every bit as magical!
Stephanie, I have three boys, and my oldest two couldn't get enough of
Goofy's Sports Deck when we sailed on the
Disney Dream this past January. They loved all of the activities on the sports deck, but I think their favorite spot was the sports simulators. When
making your reservation, your family of three is welcome to share just one time slot if you'd like. We found that many of the games offered one- and two-player options, so you may even find an opportunity for some friendly competition, or you can rotate through participating in the various games. I'll save myself some embarrassment and won't say what the score was in the basketball shootout with my teenage son, but I will say it was a great time with my boys that afternoon!
Your reservation for the sports simulator, along with other onboard activities, can be managed in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or under "
My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website. You can also check for any last-minute availability once you board. After experiencing the sports simulator once, I hope to book it multiple times on our next cruise!
Another one of my favorite family activities on both the Fantasy and the Dream is
AquaDuck. Lines can sometimes get longer in the afternoon, so we like to head there early in the day or later at night. You'll even find convenient cubbies near the slide entrance to store any shoes or loose items while you ride.
I hope this information has been helpful, Stephanie, and that you enjoy making many magical memories at sea! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
