Hello, Jessica! Thank you for swimming by today with your question.
There is an ocean of fun waiting for you on
Disney Castaway Cay! Bring a few sand toys, find a relaxing lounge chair under an umbrella, and enjoy the view! It's truly a day in paradise with character appearances, a delicious BBQ lunch, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment to keep everyone busy.
If you plan on “flippin’ your fins” in the snorkeling lagoon, you are welcome to bring your own gear or rent some on the island. Fins are optional, but a complimentary snorkeling vest is required. The snorkeling lagoon offers 22 acres to explore! You might even see some of Ariel’s beloved treasures under the sea.
If you're just getting your sea legs, the Discover Trail is your go-to spot. The water's only about 3 feet deep, perfect for beginners. But if you're a pro swimmer, I recommend the Explorer Trail, where the depths reach around 17 feet. If you're searching for some hidden gems, don't worry! Lifeguards are around to point you in the right direction.
My family loves
exploring the island on a bike. The path is well-marked, and there are even water stations along the route. You’ll come across an observation tower along one of the nature paths. Climb the tower for a breathtaking view of the island and your Disney ship.
I have one last suggestion before you set sail. Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you're onboard and connected to the ship's Wi-Fi, you can use the app to keep in touch with your family, review your itinerary, browse restaurant menus, and see what entertainment's happening each day of your trip.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your vacation planning, Jessica! We're here to make sure you have the best time ever.
SEAS the adventure!
