Hi Jason!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney for help managing your Disney Cruise Line plans! It's just about time to set sail so now is the perfect time to finalize your
onboard activities and
Port Adventures for your vacation. Before you know it you'll be relaxing at sea and soaking up the sun at
Disney Castaway Cay!
Jason, with so many activities and excursions to choose from, sometimes the hardest part is picking what you want to do! Since plans change for guests in the weeks leading up to your cruise, Disney Cruise Line allows you to
cancel Port Adventures and most onboard activities up to three days before your vacation without penalty. There are a few exceptions to this, such as adult dining, which can be canceled up to 24 hours before your dining reservation. I always recommend double-checking specific cancellation policies for your activities so you are aware of deadlines and any fees. You can view, make, or cancel reservations for activities and excursions by viewing "My Plans" under "My Reservations" on either the
Disney Cruise Line website or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some technical difficulties as you've been trying to change your plans, but I can offer a few general tips to try and help. First, you'll want to make sure that the person who made the reservation is the one attempting to cancel the reservation. If someone else in your party made the reservation for your group, you may be able to see the plans and modify them for yourself, but maybe not for everyone else. Next, if I'm having any issues with either the website or the app, I often start simply by logging out and then back in. There are times when glitches just happen for no apparent reason and this simple reset gives a fresh start. You could also attempt switching the device that you are using to access your plans. If you've been using the website maybe try accessing "My Plans" via the app, and vice versa. Lastly, you are always welcome to
call a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who can further assist with your needs.
Once onboard, your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will be your go-to resource for information such as dining rotation, menus, and activities, as well as viewing all of your reserved activities and Port Adventures! You'll also notice an opportunity to
book a placeholder for a future cruise while you're sailing on the app. We always take advantage of this opportunity to save money on a future cruise. It makes disembarking a little less sad when we know another Disney Cruise Line vacation will be waiting for us!
Jason, I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for a magical vacation at sea! Please stop by to see us again here at planDisney with any vacation planning questions you have in the future!
Happy Sailing!
Kristi
