How can I become a rundisney member, I’m an Annual pass holder and a DVC owner, didn’t know if either of those would help in the registration process.

    Hello there, Dale!

Welcome to planDisney. I saw your name and immediately thought of the upcoming Walt Disney World 10K scheduled during Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend in January 2025. I'm not sure if you've ever run this particular race but it has featured the adorable chipmunk duo, Chip 'n Dale as hosts for the past few years. Sadly, I missed out on the recent registration for next year's races, but I hope to get back out on a runDisney course again sometime soon.

As I'm sure you've noticed, Gold and Platinum Club runDisney Members have access to race registration earlier than the general public. This can be a major advantage for securing a spot during your favorite event or distance amidst the ever-growing demand. Memberships for this current season began October 1, 2023, and will be valid through September 30, 2024. All membership levels are sold out at this time, but new registration opportunities will be announced at rundisney.com, if and when they become available.

Memberships for the current 2023-2024 season were scheduled to become available on May 23, 2023, so I'm hopeful we'll see announcements about 2024-2025 membership sales announced soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to secure your preferred membership tier.

In the meantime, keep training and keep staying fueled by pixie dust, whether it's in the form of a Virtual Race or an in-person event at the parks. Every mile is magic, no matter where you choose to run them! I was able to snag this summer's runDisney Virtual Series and I'm more than a little excited about the snack-themed medals. I can't wait to complete my miles in my hometown and then make all my neighbors jealous when they see my Mickey Mouse Waffle 5K Medal.

I hope this helped, Dale. If you have any additional questions please race on back to planDisney and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
