Hi there, Leslie, and welcome to planDisney! Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be here in just a few short days, and you must be getting so excited! Are your suitcases packed yet? Now is the perfect time to think about what to put in your bag when visiting a Disney Theme Park.
Leslie, it sounds like you've already purchased your Disney Theme Park tickets. Once you've
linked your tickets in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you should be good to go to enter the parks. I suggest wearing a
MagicBand+ that will allow you to easily tap in for park entry, or go ahead and use the
Disney MagicMobile Service, which saves your ticket to your smartphone's wallet, allowing you to scan your phone without even having to unlock it! You will not need your drivers license to enter the park, but you might want to keep it on hand if you're planning to purchase an adult beverage.
When it comes to deciding what to bring for a practically perfect park day, I suggest packing light! My essentials include: comfortable shoes, sunglasses, chapstick, drivers license, smartphone, and a rain jacket if it looks like it'll be a blustery day. In addition, you'll want to be sure you're bringing your sense of humor, lots of patience, and a ton of curiosity! You're welcome to check out the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules if you have any other concerns about what isn't allowed in the parks. And, if you forget an essential item, know that you can likely find what you need at a merchandise location within the parks or your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel gift shop!
Leslie, I hope you have the very best time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you prepare for your arrival.
See you real soon!
Jennifer
