Can I link a specific credit card to each magic band? We want to use our own credit card and are staying in the same room.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Tammi! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up in a flash, so let's talk about the easiest way to pay the piper.

I recently stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort with my sister-in-law, and we stopped by the Front Desk when we arrived with this exact question. Since the room was booked in my name, by default, all charges would go to the credit card I had linked to the resort reservation. But we found out we could link her credit card to her MagicBand! She set up her own PIN, and it worked like magic.

Remember, you'll both need to stop by with your friend's valid credit card, photo ID, and MagicBand to set up their charging ability. My tip is to do this as soon as you arrive before making any room charges to avoid confusion.

To check the charges during your visit in your mobile app, select Hotel Reservations under the My Visit section of the Welcome screen and scroll to View Charges. You can also double-check how individual guest charges will show up by asking at the Front Desk, but when we were there, each charge had the guest's name beside it.

Remember to wear your MagicBand+ during any nighttime spectacular shows, Tammi. It's not just a convenient way to pay but can also add excitement to your experience. I don't want to spoil anything, but you might find your band getting in on the fun during fireworks. I recently wore mine during Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park, and it really lit up the experience!

Tammi, I'm sprinkling pixie dust your way so you'll make some priceless memories on your visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
