Do I need dinner reservations for Fort Wilderness lodge?

    Howdy, Todd!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for moseying over with a great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. Yeeee-haw! It sounds like you're gearing up for an adventurous visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth very soon. I'm here to help guide you during your upcoming excursion - the wilderness must be explored!

Todd, whether you're planning to visit Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or Disney's Wilderness Lodge, it's good that you're mapping out your journey before you set out. At the time of writing, parking at the Disney Resort hotels is limited to those Guests with eligible dining reservations, Enchanting Extras Collection bookings, or current resort reservations. Typically, Guests will not be permitted to park at a Disney Resort hotel to dine at a Quick-Service location. Therefore, I encourage you to snag a Table-Service dining reservation at either location if you hope to explore the grounds and enjoy the holiday decorations! At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue offers Guests a rootin' tootin' good time and a hearty meal. Alternatively, Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge serves up savory skillets (with a side of sass) - and I'm happy to share that I still see remaining availability for the date of your visit!

There's no better time to make your way to these dazzling properties, Todd. At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you'll see that the campers have decked the halls, with dazzling decorations adorning their cabins and campsites! Meanwhile, Disney's Wilderness Lodge sports some of the most spectacular holiday decor throughout all of the Walt Disney World Resort, in my opinion. I'll never forget the morning that my family walked out into the grand atrium and discovered that the magnificent, stories-tall Christmas tree had been assembled overnight - a core memory that I'll cherish forever!

Todd, I hope this information has cleared up your confusion and I wish you a holly-jolly time at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions before you saddle up for your grand adventure, you're always welcome to trot back over to planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you enjoy the wildest ride in the wilderness!

    So long, partner!
