Jambo Cristina!
Welcome to planDisney, where we're
wild about helping Guests with their adventures! Thanks for swinging by as you prepare for your unforgettable journey to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Let's dive right into your question!
You do not need to be a registered guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to participate in activities that take place in public areas, including the String of Memories experience. This unique, fun, and educational craft is open to all!
If you plan to park at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (or any hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection), you'll want to have a dining reservation, as parking lots are typically limited to guests staying or dining at that resort. Fortunately, a few fantastic spots to grab a bite are nearby.
Boma - Flavors of Africa is my favorite buffet at Walt Disney World. Open for both breakfast and dinner, there's something for everyone here.
Insider tip: the butternut squash soup and sweet corn pudding at dinner are tasty accompaniments for every item on the buffet.
A short trek or shuttle ride from the main lobby is
Sanaa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This hidden gem offers a flavorful blend of African and Indian-inspired dishes. Bonus: if you dine before sunset, you'll have views of the animals roaming the savanna.
I hope this is helpful, Christina. Please reach out if there's anything else we can do to make your trip even more magical. Thanks again for sending us your question, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" soon.
Kwaheri,
Betsy
