Hello there, Jacqueline!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be passing through The Most Magical Place on Earth before your oceanic voyage. Just like our friend, Moana, the sea calls you! But first, let's chat about how to make your pre-cruise time on land extra magical.
Jacqueline, Guests can make dining and Enchanting Extras Collection reservations up to 60 days in advance, so you're well within your booking window at this point. I'd highly recommend checking
dining reservation availability as soon as possible - either on the Walt Disney World Resort website or using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. I'm happy to provide a few personalized recommendations based on a few of my favorite dining experiences at the Disney Resort hotels!:
- California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort serves one of my favorite dinner meals on property. If you time your dining reservation just right, you might have the chance to view the fireworks high above Magic Kingdom Park from the comfort of a private viewing deck right outside the restaurant! After your meal, hop aboard the Resort Monorail for a tour of the nearby resorts and their lounges.
- Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a lovely upscale venue offering an African-inspired menu and extensive wine list. Walk out to the savannah surrounding the resort to view the animals before or after your meal!
- Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk Inn is a fantastic Italian eatery in a spectacular setting. Once you're full of pasta, head to Jellyrolls dueling piano bar, nearby, to enjoy an evening of tunes and entertainment!
Remember, Jacqueline: at the time of writing, parking at the Disney Resort hotels is restricted to resort Guests and those with valid dining or
Enchanting Extras Collection reservations. So, you'll want to secure a booking before heading to any of these venues. Some popular Enchanting Extras Collection offerings that take place at Disney Resort hotels are
Sangria University at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and
Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Jacqueline, I hope you've found these suggestions to be a helpful start as you gear up for an exciting land-and-sea getaway! If you have any more questions before or during your visit, please feel free to stop back by
planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
