I need to add a second room to my reservation but every time I go to My Plans to change my reservation it will not give me the option. How do I add a second room for my planned guests?

    Hello Nicole,

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question. I understand that adding a second room to your existing reservation can be a bit challenging through the online system. Currently, the My Disney Experience platform doesn't support modifying existing reservations to add additional rooms directly. However, there are a couple of ways to proceed:

    1. Booking a Separate Reservation: You can book an additional room separately by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website. Enter your desired dates and select the same resort and room type as your existing reservation. This will create a new reservation with its own confirmation number. Once booked, you can link this new reservation to your My Disney Experience account. To do this, log in to your account, navigate to "My Plans," and select "Link a Reservation." Enter the confirmation number and the last name on the reservation to add it to your plans.

    2. Contacting Disney Resort Hotel Reservations: For a more seamless experience, consider calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations directly at (407) 934-7639. A friendly Cast Member can assist you in booking the additional room and ensure that both reservations are linked. They can also note any special requests, such as having the rooms located near each other or connecting, although such requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Useful Tip: If you're hoping for adjoining or connecting rooms, it's best to make this request at the time of booking. While Disney strives to accommodate such requests, they are not guaranteed. Additionally, ensure that each room reservation has a designated adult as the lead guest, as this is required for check-in purposes.

I hope this information helps you in securing the additional room for your upcoming stay. If you have any further questions or need assistance with other aspects of your trip, feel free to reach out. Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

    Happy Planning!
