Season's Greetings, Haley! It looks like a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is on your Christmas list this year, and I hope you'll get exactly what you're dreaming of, so let's talk about planning your jolly holiday so you can enjoy the merriment of the season at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
When you book a
Disney vacation package, it's a convenient way to bundle your Disney Resort hotel reservation with your
Theme Park Tickets and even add a
Disney dining plan to one connected reservation. At this time, a Disney vacation package does require guests to include at least a 2-Day Theme Park Ticket, so if you're only in need of a 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket, my recommendation would be to book a room-only reservation separately from your theme park tickets. Once you've made your Disney Resort hotel reservation and purchased your theme park tickets, you'll still be able to connect all components of your vacation to your
My Disney Experience account to streamline your planning.
Tickets to attend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will also need to be purchased separately for the date you wish to attend. In doing a quick search today, many dates are already sold out, so if you're thinking of attending, I would recommend securing your tickets as soon as possible, as more dates are likely to sell out as they draw near. If you do get tickets to attend this special event, be sure to plan your time around the special party offerings like
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show! You'll also find unique character meet-and-greet opportunities and an abundance of
seasonal snacks that are sure to make your visit even more merry and bright!
Haley, I hope this helps you to piece together the perfect vacation; with so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort this
holiday season, I know you'll make the most magical memories! If we can help with anything else, come back to
planDisney and let us know!
Happy Holidays,
Alison
