Hello, LeaAnn, and thanks for stopping by planDisney again! It looks like you're arriving at the
Most Magical Place on Earth soon, so I hope your bags are packed, and you're ready for some pixie dust. Let's look at how you can set up charging privileges for your party members when you arrive.
Guests registered at
Disney Resort Hotels can link a valid credit card to their account, set up a PIN, and charge food and merchandise throughout Walt Disney World Resort during their stay. When I checked in at Disney's Pop Century Resort a few weeks ago, my sister-in-law stayed with us. We stopped by the front desk, and they were able to link her credit card to her
MagicBand in just a few minutes.
The Cast Member told us this should be done in person, preferably when guests first arrive, and no charges have been made. You'll need to have all of your party present with their
MagicBands and credit cards to set this up, but it's easy peasy! You'll be cha-chinging your way through the theme parks in no time. I always say I leave a trail of receipts at Disney. Well, that's what my husband says!
You'll be visiting during the final days of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, so I hope you check out the whimsical topiaries and delicious Outdoor Kitchens. You can pick up a Festival Passport and try five items on the
Garden Graze food stroll for a complimentary sweet treat at the end. My tip is that you don't have to complete the food stroll in one day; hang on to your stamped passport to spread out the yumminess during the week!
LeaAnn, I hope your visit is full of fabulous finds and delectable delights! Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
