Does the monorail from Grand Floridian take you directly to the entrance of Magic Kingdom or do you have to go to the ticket center and take the monorail again to go to Magic Kingdom? Is it best to walk back or take the monorail to the hotel?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled you stopped by, and we are so excited to help you plan your next trip to Disney World. Mickey and Minnie just told me they are very excited to see you REAL soon!

So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to share with you that you most definitely CAN take the Monorail from the Grand Floridian directly to Magic Kingdom. Just head on up to the second floor of the main lobby and take a very short ride to Magic Kingdom. Woo Hoo! Don't you just love happy endings?!

There is a very nice walking path from Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian that you can take. I have done this before, and it was great to take a leisurely stroll back to your resort after a great day at Magic Kingdom. I will tell you that the walk is approximately .7 miles. If you have the time (and energy) to walk that far, I think you would love the walk. If you are pressed for time, I recommend you take the monorail or water taxi back to the Grand Floridian.

Have you booked your next trip to Disney yet? If you have not, I highly recommend you check out the Special Offers Mickey has been planning for all of his pals...like YOU!  I am especially excited about Free Disney Dining being offered this summer!

I sure hope this information helps you in your planning! If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
