My mom wants to buy my boyfriend and I Star Wars Special Event Tickets. However, I do not have a pass and she plans to buy them Feb 21 since she is a passholder. Can she put different names on the tickets?

Greetings, Andee! Welcome to planDisney. When it comes to planning questions the force is strong with us!

I'm excited to hear you are thinking about attending a Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite event. These special events are such a great time and I was thrilled to hear the announcement this week that they were returning. As a Magic Key holder myself, I am excited about the opportunity to try to get a few tickets for this event as well. Your mother will be able to purchase up to 8 tickets and it will ask for the names of the ticket holders at check out. I have read over the fine print on the announcement on Disney Parks Blog and do not see anything about if one of the tickets must be for the Magic Key holder or not.

The Star Wars Nite event is a very popular event and I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out quickly. I recommend your mom make sure she has logged into her Disney account ahead of the time the tickets could go live so she is ready to be placed in the queue when they do go live. The good news is if the Magic Key holder ticket sales opportunity sells out, she will have another chance when they go live to the public.

Andee, I hope you are successful in getting those tickets for your boyfriend and yourself. It's going to be an epic event! May the force be with you!
