Hi my mom is renting a evc and we may be in a ride line after the park closes. how do we return it, are we allowed to after it closes?

    Hi Ty!

It looks like you've already arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort—how exciting! I hope you're already feeling the magic all around you.

When it comes to renting Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) at Disney, here's what you need to know. You can rent an ECV for the day, and if you leave the Theme Park and return on the same day, the ECV can be held for you until you return. This makes it convenient if you want to take a break or hop to another park.

Even though the Theme Park may close at a specific time, many of the Gift Shops remain open for about an hour after the park closing. They understand that guests will slowly make their way out of the parks. This is also true for the ECV pick-up and return locations. You should be able to return the ECV even if you're in a ride line that extends past closing time. Just ensure you return the ECV before heading to any of the transportation hubs, as you won’t be able to drop it off there.

Wishing you and your mom a magical stay at Walt Disney World! Enjoy every moment of your adventure.
