What moderate hotel buses have the closest drop off/pickup up spots at the parks? Do the Minnie Vans drop off/pick up any closer than the buses?

Long time, no see, Shannon! It's so great to have you back for another visit here at planDisney. Making your way around Walt Disney World is easy thanks to complimentary and convenient transportation options. Whether you hop on a bus, boat, monorail, or Skyliner gondola, you'll be whisked away to your destination post haste. There are also options that have an associated fee if you're looking for the most direct route, so let's dive in and see how we can get you from your Disney Moderate Resort hotel to the front gates of the theme parks.

If you're staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or Riverside, the bus will be your primary form of transportation to the theme parks. You'll find that the bus loops at each theme park are as close as you can get to the front gates. This is especially important at Magic Kingdom, as those who take ride share services or drive their own vehicles will have to take a ferry or monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) in order to get to the entrance.

If you're staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you can still take a bus to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but the Disney Skyliner will be the best choice to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Climb aboard a character-covered gondola for direct service to Hollywood Studios, or take a leisurely ride through the skies as you pass Disney's Riviera Resort on your way to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. This is a great option if you're seeking to rope drop an attraction in World Showcase or want to snag a croissant first thing in the morning from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.

These are the complimentary forms of transportation available to you, and they will get you where you need to go from your Moderate resort. If you're staying at a hotel that does not have a Skyliner station, you can purchase a ride via Minnie Van Service to get from your resort to any other location on Walt Disney World property. It's important to know that Minnie Vans will drop you off at the bus loop at Magic Kingdom, not the TTC.

I hope this helps you plan your route from the Moderate resort of your choice to the theme parks! I love to kick back, relax, and let a friendly Cast Member do the driving so I can focus on having an amazing day with my family and friends. Come back and see us at planDisney with more great questions, Shannon! See ya real soon.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
