Hiya Caitlin!
Greetings from a fellow Coloradan (and Disney lover!)... and a warm welcome to planDisney. Thanks for visiting us with your question today. I apologize for the conflicting information you found on your online search regarding this topic. Things are always changing at Disney World! At planDisney we try to answer every guest question, so I'm glad that you reached out directly. It gave us Magical Mountain Gals a chance to connect!
I confess that the Wilderness Lodge is the only Disney World Deluxe Resort where my family has never stayed. I felt like the theming was so similar to Colorado-vibes, that I always opted for something that felt more vacation-vibes. But after listening to feedback from friends, I now believe I've truly been missing out! You're going to have an incredible visit, and I'm so excited for you.
It took a bit of research, because the way Geyser Point is described on the website seems to vary somewhat. However, based on the way Geyser Point is categorized when searching for
Dining Plan restaurants - this location is considered a Table Service meal on the Dining Plan. So even a "to-go" or mobile order placed here would utilize a Table Service entitlement. My fellow panelist Wes also did some fact finding on this topic, and
came to the same conclusion (plus he's funny and quite entertaining... so his answer is worth reading!)
I hope this helps you decide on your plans, and best way to use those magical dining plan credits! I absolutely adore using the Disney Dining Plan. And filling my resort refillable mug, every chance I get. Because I drink Diet Coke like it's my job.
Caitlin, sending you pixie dust and I hope you enjoy every magical moment of your trip! Please
visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any other tips or recommendations... from one Magical Mountain-Loving Gal to another!
Adventure is out there,
Tami
