Welcome back to planDisney, Angie! Thanks so much for swinging by with another question for us today. It sounds like you've got a big trip coming up this summer, and a two-room setup means more space, more magic, and more memories to be made! I'm happy to help you figure out how best to use your
Disney Dining Plan when your reservation contains two rooms.
On the dining plan, meals and snacks are allocated per room, so each reservation will have its own pool to draw from. This means Room One will have its own set of Quick Service and Table Service meals and snacks, and Room Two will have its own set as well. However, the great news is that when it's time to pay for a meal, you don't have to split the bill by room unless you want to.
If it's easier for your group to cover lunch or dinner with the dining plan allocations from one room at a time, you absolutely can, as long as that room's dining plan has enough meals and snacks to cover everyone. Cast Members are super used to this and can help you use your dining plan however you'd like, so it's super flexible!
Just make sure to keep an eye on the available dining plan balances using the
My Disney Experience app. It's updated in real-time and will show you how many meals and snacks you've used and how many are left for each room. This helps you plan and avoid any surprises when it's time to grab a
DOLE Whip or sit down for a
fun character meal!
I hope this answers your question, Angie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
