Hi Brooke,
The only sad "ride" of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the one back to Orlando International Airport. It sounds to me like you are playing a trick on time to combine an incredible night at
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party with an early-morning journey to the airport. I like your style.
If I were you, I'd opt to for a reservation at a
Magic Kingdom Area Resort for my final night. An easy walk, Water Taxi, or ride on the
Disney Monorail to my comfy, cozy bed in a Disney Deluxe Resort for a few-hour nap before a travel day seems like the perfect way to catch a few winks before a day of travel.
It would be a close call for me between
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I'd have to give a slight advantage, in this case, to Disney's Contemporary Resort because I have a sneaking suspicion that strong coffee will need to be in the plan. My favorite caffeine stop at Walt Disney World Resort is located on the 1st floor, just inside the doors.
Contemporary Grounds has such friendly Cast Members and serves some expertly crafted Joffrey's Coffee options. Even my teen agrees! It's the best.
I hope that helps, Brooke! Rest up, and come back and visit us with any other questions. We are here to help!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
