Does the Minnie Van have rear facing car seats for babies? We are looking to get dropped off at one of the character breakfasts then taking the monorail to the parks, so we can’t bring our own car seat.

    Hi Suzanne!

    Welcome back to planDisney!

I apologize if this is repeated information, but I wanted to make sure you got the answer! I’m happy to report that all Minnie Vans are equipped with up to two complimentary car seats to ensure the littlest ones in your party are comfortable and safe. These car seats are convertible and can be front-facing or rear-facing. So, no need to worry about bringing your own car seat along!

Once you’re done with your breakfast, you’ll be more than welcome to hop on the Monorail to the parks. One of my favorite things about using the Monorail is that you’ll go through security before boarding. Then, once you arrive at the park, you’ll get to go straight to the turnstiles to scan in!

One more thing before I let you go! If you happen to be visiting Disney World this summer, make sure to take advantage of all the great things during this year’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER event. In addition to some fun character interactions at the parks, there are 4 participating resorts that are offering extra amenities for your resort room. And I couldn’t help but notice that you’ll be staying at one of the participating resorts from a previous question you submitted!

If you’re staying at Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, or Art of Animation during Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, you can request extra baby items for your room. In addition to a Pack n’ Play and bed bumpers, you’ll also be able to request a diaper disposal unit, nightlight, bottle warmer, and baby bathtub. These are subject to availability, so I recommend requesting them in advance.

You’ll also get to enjoy scheduled character meet-and-greets right at your resort, including a pajama party on select nights. So, make sure to check the Activities Schedule at your resort or under the Recreation tab on the resort’s webpage on Disney World’s website.

I hope that helps! And that you have the best trip with your family! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us.
