To answer both parts of your first question: There's no charge to use the
Walt Disney World transportation overall. That includes the buses, monorail, Skyliner and watercrafts. However, buses do not run from
Disney Springs to the four theme parks.
Beginning June 28, 2026, there's a new policy for transportation at Disney Springs. Guests boarding buses or the water taxis on the Sassagoula River bound for a specific resort will need to show proof that they are staying at that resort, have a dining reservation there or have booked a special experience that takes place at the resort.
As of now, guests may use other forms of Walt Disney World transportation from the theme parks whether or not they are resort guests. For example, you can hop on the monorail or a water taxi from
Magic Kingdom to the
Polynesian Village Resort for dinner or shopping. Board a bus at
Animal Kingdom to park hop to
Epcot. Or jump on the Skyliner at
Hollywood Studios to access the entertainment, shopping and dining at the
BoardWalk.
